چکیده
Abstract. Dust aerosols affect the radiative and energy balance at local global scales by scattering absorbing sunlight infrared light. A previous study suggests that dust size distribution is one of major sources uncertainty in modeling distribution. Climate models overestimate fine (≤5 µm) an order magnitude, while underestimates coarse (≥5 range between 0.5 to 1.5 orders magnitude compared with observations. Here we improved simulated aerosol using a sectional model (Community Aerosol Radiation Model for Atmospheres) coupled Community Earth System (CESM1/CARMA). Simulated mass distributions peak around 2–3 µm diameter increase 4 from 0.1 2 µm. Our demonstrates North African, Middle Eastern, Asian accounts ∼ 59.7 %, 12.5 13.3 % annual mean emissions, remaining 14.5 originating scattered smaller sources. The vertical are validated against NASA Atmospheric Tomography (ATom) field campaign datasets. Both simulations ATom situ measurements during suggest concentrations over remote ocean drop 3 surface upper troposphere (200 hPa). contributes more than 40 abundances lower stratosphere (UTLS). dominates budget UTLS summer monsoon (ASM) region, relative contribution 1–2 higher African Eastern deserts.

T he investigation of exchange rate pass-through is an important issue in international finance. The relationship between exchange rate pass-through and exchange rate arrangements such as the dollarization regime has been examined in recent decades. For this purpose, the main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of exchange rate pass-through on the domestic inflation in selecte...

GDP, a measure of economic welfare, may be supplemented with other measures of economic welfare and environmental sustainability. This article discusses alternative measures which have been proposed in the literature concerning pollution, which can be used to augment GDP as a measure of welfare to produce a better index.
